If Palin's $150,000 shopping spree had Republicans disgusted, then the report that her makeup stylist cost $22,800 for the first two weeks of October should have them livid. The stylist, Amy Strozzi, was apparently paid more than any other McCain staffer during that period. Ms. Strozzi, who was nominated for an Emmy award for her makeup work on the television show.TPJ: $22,800 dollars for two weeks just for make-up!!! I know that make-up is expensive. That said, those kind of numbers are that I'd expect from Paris Hilton and not the Republican V.P. candidate who has been trying to appeal to average, middle-class "Wal-Mart" and "Hockey moms" who don't make much more than $22,800 in a year. And doesn't she know how to do her own make-up? Come on. Yeah nothing says, "We're fiscally responsible" than spending this kind of money on clothes and make-up (insert sarcasm).
McCain is trying to defend the clothing expenditures by saying that, “She needed clothes at the time,” McCain told a group of Florida reporters. As if she was a homeless lady that they yanked off the street. Come to think of it I bet a homeless lady would be better than Palin. And even if her wardrobe was a little thin you don't need to spend that kind of money for new duds. I find some very respectable and nice clothes from stores like Kohls, JC Penny and Target. Some people say that such stores are for the "low class" but last time I checked it was the so-called, "lower classes" that make up the vast majority of voters. I hear others saying that this isn't an important issue but I disagree. It shows an inability to relate to average folks and poor fiscal responsibility.
In other news: Did you hear about that McCain supporter who was supposedly attacked and beat up by a mugger who allegedly carved a backwards "B" (for Barack Obama) into her cheek upon seeing her McCain-Palin bumper sticker? Yeah, well it was all made-up. The McCain supporters are turning rabid. I've said if before but it seems like the only people left supporting the McCain-Palin ticket are the right-wing radical wackos.
Plus, former Bush Press Secretary Scott McClellan will vote for Obama.

The wingnut blogs ran right off the cliff with this one. They've all become unhinged.
I'll be posting a video of what McCain/Palin supporters look like as they stand in line to attend McCain/Palin rally.
It's worse than ugly.
They are very, very angry, unhappy people.
